What It’s Like

The Musical Box is a lovely village hall music session running on Wednesday mornings in Clavering and Thursday mornings in Elmdon.

Expect classic nursery rhymes, marching songs and plenty of actions — with Makaton signs gently introduced along the way. It’s a great way for little ones to build confidence with rhythm, repetition and early communication skills.

There are lots of instruments for the children to explore, so it’s not just sitting and singing — they get properly involved. The session also includes storytime and refreshments, making it feel like a full, rounded morning activity.
