I just wanted to write a little thank you because Walden Weekly has now had 500 plus unique visitors in its first month and honestly, I am a bit blown away.

Not just because the number itself is lovely, but because those are new people finding the site. New mums, dads, grandparents and carers landing on Walden Weekly and hopefully finding something genuinely useful. That feels really special.

A big part of why I started this in the first place was because I kept hearing the same thing when I was out and about at local groups and classes. So many of you were saying how hard it was to know what was actually on, where to look, and how difficult it was to piece things together from Facebook pages, old websites, posters and word of mouth. I was feeling exactly the same myself.

It felt mad that there was not one easy place to quickly work out what was going on nearby, especially when you are already juggling a little one, snacks, naps, bags, tantrums and everything else that comes with leaving the house.

So to see people actually using the site, revisiting it, mentioning it to each other and spreading it by word of mouth means such a lot.

I have also been hearing such lovely things about Walden Weekly and how useful it has already been, which honestly feels like the biggest testimonial I could ask for. That kind of feedback means the world, especially this early on.

A huge thank you as well to the new groups and local businesses who have reached out and shared their details with me. It makes such a difference and helps me build something more useful for everyone. I really appreciate it.

Walden Weekly is very much a labour of love. I am building it alongside mum life, work and everything else, and I am constantly updating bits, tweaking things, testing improvements and trying to make it easier to use. So thank you for your patience while I fiddle with things behind the scenes and keep making it better.

That is probably one of the biggest things I want people to know. This is not a big polished team with endless time and resources. It is me, trying to make local parent life a bit easier, one listing, one update and one slightly chaotic idea at a time.

And it is growing because of you.

Because you have visited. Shared it. Mentioned it to a friend. Sent me a group recommendation. Told someone at baby class. Come back to check what is on. All of that matters.

Please do keep the suggestions coming too. If there is a group, class, venue, café, soft play, seasonal event or hidden gem you think I should know about, send it my way. I want Walden Weekly to keep becoming more and more helpful for local families, and the best recommendations usually come from other parents.

There is lots more to come, including more listings, more local guides, Easter ideas, park roundups and little improvements across the site to help make finding things easier.

Thank you again for all the support so far. Seeing Walden Weekly hit 500 plus unique visitors in month one has given me such a boost and I am so excited to keep building it.

P.S.

Those 500 plus views are unique visits, which means they are new people finding the site. I still cannot quite believe that, and I am so grateful.
